Help us make the future Australia wants.

As a nation with immense fortune, Australia has the capacity to make the future it wants. But the way Australia makes its future is broken.

Despite broad-based agreement about major issues holding Australia back, the country has wasted over twenty years without significant reform to address challenges such as First Nations opportunity, women’s equality, aged care and ageing, diabetes, stagnant productivity, a fit-for-purpose tax regime, housing affordability, truth in politics, and climate and energy.

It is no wonder that only 39% of us are confident Australia will be a better country in five to ten years and half of us are disengaged from current affairs.

At Next25, we focus on the how. If we improve how decisions are made in Australia, it will act as a turbo-charger for everyone focused on what those decisions need to be.

Our generous philanthropic donors enable Next25 to work towards making the future Australia wants. If you would like to join Next25’s community of donors, please make a tax-deductible donation via credit card through our affiliation with UNSW Sydney.

For questions or further information, including organising a donation via invoice, please contact our Philanthropy Manager, Dr Don Perlgut, at don@next25.org.au.

“There are many challenges presently facing Australia, as well as new (unknown) challenges that will emerge as the future unfolds. It is a precondition to dealing with these effectively and in the public interest that the right decision-making systems and institutions are in place that have our trust and confidence. This is the focus of Next25, and why I believe it is a priority to support, irrespective of the particular issues that concern us personally or where we sit on the political spectrum.”
